Using the Railway for filming
For production companies looking for a railway location, we are able to offer the following:

  • A location within a World Heritage Site and close to the town of Blaenavon, Blaenavon Iron Works and also Big Pit Mining Museum
  • A variety of stations/platforms and railway workshops available
  • Industrial Steam or Industrial and ex-Mainline Diesel Traction available
  • 1950's/1960's style Mk1 rolling stock, 1980's refurbished Electric Unit and a variety of freight stock available. For the 2012 season, GER Directors Saloon "No3" is also available for use
  • Stunning scenery
  • Large car park available
